ABOUT ME

ILLUSTRATOR, GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, where many of my summer days were spent bumming at the boardwalk in Santa Cruz or getting touristy in the City (San Francisco), there was something special growing up in the Bay during the 90s. Growing up Bay Area meant endless summer days, where the only important decisions were between Rainbows or Vans. Unknowing, it was that these times would define who I am as an artist and as an individual.

I instantly fell in love with the surf culture. I wholeheartedly embraced the laissez-faire attitude, which has taught me to lean into the imperfect, find the beauty in the struggle, and celebrate the successes frequently. This idea of what will be will be, has helped shape the rough texture style that I learned to embrace. There is purpose and beauty in the imperfect. Over time, this mindset has created balance, humility, support, and significance in my work and home life.

My journey over the last 15 years has taken me through various detours. Some were short-lived, some were ridiculously long, but all have become a part of who I am. I received my bachelor's degree in both marketing and finance but shifted my professional focus to the field of law enforcement. I spent ten plus years on and off in the law enforcement field, where I held many different hats within different departments. Throughout this time my love for the arts had never ceased, and I always found opportunities to practice my craft.

I have taken on many freelance projects working with local small businesses and individuals in creating branding and logo work. Other work includes tattoos, business cards, and t-shirt designs.  In between projects, I can always be found on the beach or in the water, looking for inspiration.
